Senior ML Ops Engineer, AI Platform Team

About the role

Join GetYourGuide's AI Platform Team as a Senior MLOps Engineer to design and implement scalable machine learning systems. You'll work closely with Data Products teams to bring ML/AI algorithms to production, enabling self-service tools and automation across the organization.

What you'll do

• Design and implement systems and tools for scalable and efficient machine learning solutions
• Increase the number of data products in production reliably while reducing time to production and operational costs
• Partner with product teams to bring advanced algorithms into production following MLOps best practices

What you'll need

• Strong Computer Science fundamentals with polyglot programming mindset, Python expertise
• Data Engineering experience organizing and querying data at scale, proficiency with tools like Spark
• Data Science and MLOps knowledge with genuine interest in AI/ML and experience applying MLOps best practices at scale
• Business experience with stakeholder management and strong communication/collaboration skills
• Track record of outcome-driven work and experience operating at scale with cloud DevOps/infrastructure mindset
• Autonomous, proactive, customer-oriented mindset with project ownership capabilities
• Strong teamwork approach with mentoring and knowledge sharing experience

Nice to have

• Prior experience in scale-up environments with various technologies
• Interest in LLMs and challenges of Generative AI
