About the role
You'll serve as the central legal partner for company management, HR, and employee representation at Scout24, Germany's leading real estate platform. This role involves shaping employment law-related transformation processes and ensuring legally compliant, pragmatic, and implementable decisions in daily operations and complex projects.
What you'll do
- Advise company management and HR on all collective and individual employment law matters
- Lead co-determination procedures under the Works Constitution Act for organizational measures
- Accompany operational changes and business transfers under § 613a BGB including related employment law measures
- Negotiate, draft and implement works agreements for IT systems, working time models, compensation and compliance processes
- Support complex individual employment law issues including contract design, change dismissals, and terminations
- Manage unfair dismissal proceedings and labor court disputes, including coordination with external law firms
- Advise on group-internal matters such as joint operations and internal staff secondments
What you'll need
- Qualified lawyer (2nd State Examination) or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in employment law, ideally in a legal department of a larger company and/or business law firm
- Excellent knowledge of works constitution law and individual employment law with routine experience working with co-determination bodies
- Experience in effectively using AI tools to increase productivity and problem-solving
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented approach with focus on practical and economically sensible solutions
- Strong communication skills at all levels and confident negotiation abilities in conflict situations
