Senior Payroll Specialist

About the role

This is a specialized payroll role focused on managing equity compensation plans across GetYourGuide's global operations. You'll serve as the subject matter expert for stock-based compensation payroll processing while supporting daily payroll operations.

What you'll do

• Implement equity compensation plans into payroll systems and serve as backup for daily payroll operations
• Act as subject matter expert and point of contact for employee questions on equity compensation
• Ensure correct and timely implementation of equity transactions in payroll across all countries
• Validate taxation and social security deductions for equity payouts, working with vendors and advisors
• Collaborate with People and Finance teams for seamless equity event processing
• Maintain documentation and process maps for equity plan payroll integration and compliance

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience managing payroll with stock-based compensation in multinational companies
• Strong knowledge of translating stock-based compensation plans into payrolls and their tax implications
• Fluency in English (German is a plus)
• Excellent organizational, analytical and processing skills with attention to detail
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Ability to handle sensitive company and employee information with high confidentiality
