Accounting Lead (Teilzeit, m/w/d)

About the role

As Accounting Lead at Klim, you'll ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial processes while building the foundation for scalable growth. You'll develop robust accounting processes, control mechanisms, and compliance structures for international markets, supporting the company's expansion into regenerative agriculture technology.

What you'll do

• Establish and maintain accurate financial processes, monthly closings, and audits
• Handle VAT and cross-border accounting for international operations
• Build and optimize accounting processes and control mechanisms
• Ensure compliance with HGB and tax regulations
• Proactively identify and minimize financial and operational risks
• Support decision-making with solid financial governance

What you'll need

• 4-8 years of experience in accounting and/or auditing
• Strong expertise in German accounting standards (HGB) and tax law
• Experience with monthly closings, audits, VAT, and international accounting
• Analytical thinking and ability to structure complex problems
• Precise, structured, and independent working style
• Fluent German and English (minimum C1 level)
• Based in Berlin or surrounding area
• Hands-on mentality for cross-functional work in a fast-growing organization
