Senior Backend Engineer

About the role

We're looking for a Backend Engineer to join our cross-functional Logistics, Payment & Invoicing engineering team. You'll work on developing innovative B2B solutions for the automotive trade industry, collaborating closely with product and design teams to ship impactful features.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with product and design teams to ship impactful features and improvements
• Take ownership of backend tasks and services from ideation to deployment and maintenance
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with focus on performance and reliability
• Participate in team discussions, technical planning, and agile ceremonies
• Share knowledge with peers and support junior engineers
• Contribute to backend systems and improve integrations with external services like payment providers

What you'll need

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in backend engineering roles
• Fluency in TypeScript and experience with Node.js, NestJS, and PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with agile practices like Scrum or Kanban
• Experience with tools like Jira and Confluence
• Excellent English communication and relationship-building skills
• Proactive, curious mindset and ability to take ownership of work
