About the role
You'll be a Senior Product Engineer at Ojin, owning products and features end-to-end from concept to deployment. This role combines technical implementation, product design, and user experience in building real-time generative AI platform for developers.
What you'll do
- Drive features and projects from abstract concepts to production deployment with full ownership across UI/UX design, product logic, and technical implementation
- Architect and build core web infrastructure using TypeScript, React, and Node.js for responsive, intuitive applications
- Develop and maintain Python backends for AI capabilities, including proxy services, agentic systems, and conversational AI flows
- Design scalable backend systems, making architectural decisions that balance delivery speed with long-term reliability
- Collaborate with founders, designers, and engineers to shape product roadmap and technical strategy
What you'll need
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Startup experience with ability to navigate early-stage company ambiguity and move fast
- Strong hands-on skills in Frontend (React, TypeScript) and Backend (Node.js, TypeScript)
- Proficiency in Python with experience or ambition to build backend systems for AI agents
- Product mindset with enthusiasm for UI/UX and customer-focused trade-offs
- Architectural depth to design complex scalable systems
- Professional fluency in English, both spoken and written
Nice to have
- Experience with WebRTC and WebSockets for real-time applications
- Performance optimization experience for global, low latency systems
- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC, AWS CDK) and AWS experience
- Background in building developer tools, API platforms, or AI enabled products
