Engineering Manager, Pricing

About the role

This is an Engineering Manager position for a new Pricing Team within Supply Tech at GetYourGuide. You'll lead a team building next-generation pricing engines and supplier-facing applications to help experience providers optimize their revenue and pricing strategies.

What you'll do

• Manage all hiring and performance management for engineering team members
• Partner with Product Manager to manage roadmap and portfolio allocation for impactful projects
• Find pragmatic solutions to complex technical challenges spanning multiple services and domains
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business on strategic initiatives
• Coach and support engineers while maintaining team ownership and delivery alignment

What you'll need

• Strong sense of ownership with ability to align technical and project plans with stakeholders
• Passion for people management and coaching engineers without micromanaging
• Ability to approach complex topics with open mind and focus on simplicity
• Focus on creating customer and business value when making roadmap decisions
• Experience working in international cross-functional environments

Nice to have

• Experience in startup environments taking projects from start to finish
• Experience with supply side of e-commerce marketplaces
• Previous experience working in pricing teams
