About the role
Head of Operations for Equipment & Technical Operations at Europe's fastest-growing fitness company. You'll own end-to-end reliability of all physical and technical equipment across 60+ gym locations, managing everything from bikes and sensors to sound systems and supply chain operations.
What you'll do
- Own single point responsibility for all hardware across BEAT81 studios ensuring 100% uptime
- Manage hardware maintenance and lifecycle for bikes, power meters, sensors, sound systems, and cardio machines
- Lead supply chain operations including vendor negotiations, procurement, and inventory management
- Oversee hardware R&D function and co-create next-generation equipment with Innovation team
- Ensure zero-compromise hardware readiness for new gym openings
- Build SOPs and manage operational KPIs including uptime, availability, and P&L for workout equipment
- Manage international hardware vendors and direct China sourcing relationships
What you'll need
- 8+ years experience in operations, hardware execution, technical infrastructure, or supply chain in multi-site environments
- Strong operational process mindset with hands-on execution capability
- Experience with complex technical setups including bikes, sensors, audio systems, and connected hardware
- Commercial acumen with vendor negotiation and procurement budget management experience
- Experience managing international hardware vendors and procurement processes
- People leadership skills to manage and develop technical, operational, and commercial teams
- KPI-driven, structured, and solution-oriented approach
- Willingness to be physically present in gyms and work close to product environment
