About the role
We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and grow a team of engineers within the Customer Risk Lifecycle segment, specifically focusing on the Digital Identity team. You'll work closely with product managers and stakeholders to provide secure and frictionless authentication experiences for customers while managing anti-money laundering and fraud risk systems.
What you'll do
- Support, invest in and develop a team of engineers through 1:1s, goal setting, and constant feedback
- Recruit, manage and retain top talent for delivery teams
- Create growth opportunities and address skill gaps through mentoring and performance management
- Build a high-performing work environment based on transparency, accountability, and trust
- Collaborate with product managers on project planning, dependency management, and process improvement
- Connect with management and other teams to unblock dependencies and provide visibility on progress
What you'll need
- Experience growing, coaching, mentoring and providing feedback to team members including difficult conversations
- Experience managing and delivering impactful projects
- Experience working on rapidly evolving products in an agile environment
- Strong leadership, planning and communication skills
- Passion for people and improving work environments
- Interest in working with fast-paced, quickly growing companies
- Professional proficiency in written English
Nice to have
- Previous experience in a FinTech company or DevOps culture environment
