Software Engineer Flutter

About the role

Join the tech team as a mobile engineer to build the Installation Manager, a Flutter-based mobile app that digitalizes operations from ground operations to rooftop installations. You'll be part of a cross-functional team working on Germany's largest one-stop-shop for renewable energy solutions including solar panels, heat pumps, and charging infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Spearhead the evolution of the mobile app for the virtual assembly line and drive continuous improvement
• Develop and deliver scalable, reliable Flutter-based mobile apps for iOS and Android platforms
• Test code and ensure high-performance front-end solutions with continuous technical improvements
• Refine features based on user feedback and industry trends to improve customer experience
• Provide guidance on automated testing, design methods, and coding standards across teams

What you'll need

• Proven track record developing and releasing mobile apps cross-platform with Flutter
• Experience with clean, maintainable code using continuous delivery and automated tests
• Experience implementing native UI/UX guidelines, APIs, and database management
• Ability to navigate remote, cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
• Result-oriented mindset with desire to help teammates thrive
• Very good English skills (German is a plus)

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript, Ruby, and modern web development practices
• Experience in backend, frontend, or infrastructure development
• Cloud infrastructure experience, ideally Google Cloud and DevOps practices
• API design and implementation experience
• Interest in climate tech industry
