About the role
This is a Business Development role focused on building client portfolios and driving revenue growth within assigned markets for an AI-driven industrial trade platform. You'll be responsible for acquiring new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and working closely with technology teams to improve platform functionality.
What you'll do
- Build and develop your own client portfolio by identifying and acquiring new business opportunities within your assigned market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships
- Proactively qualify new leads through daily outbound calls, follow-ups, and consistent pipeline management
- Engage in conversations with potential and existing clients, guiding them through the sales process
- Work closely with the technology team to provide feedback on platform functionality and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with both buyers and suppliers to address any issues, inquiries, or challenges during the trading process
- Monitor your performance against monthly targets and KPIs, taking ownership of revenue growth within your portfolio
- Stay informed about market trends, product demand, and industry dynamics to make informed trading decisions
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field
- Prior experience in Business Development, Sales, Key Account Management, or Account Management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent French skills and strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
