Visiting Financial Analyst

About the role

We're looking for a Visiting Financial Analyst (m/f/d) to join our finance team in Berlin for 4-6 months. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic financial planning, project finance, and cross-functional initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.

What you'll do

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
• Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
• Support project financing process, such as Due Diligence, Information Memorandum and ad-hoc financial analysis and presentation
• Work with various departments to gather, analyze, and interpret financial data
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of financial models and dashboards
• Support presentations and reports for senior leadership

What you'll need

• Currently pursuing or already holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field from a top-tier university or business school
• First work experience in demanding, finance-focused environments such as Investment Banking, Private Equity, or a fast-paced Startup; solid understanding of financial modeling and project finance metrics
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; eye for creating clear, professional presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Proactive team player with a self-starter mindset and great organizational skills; detail-oriented even in a dynamic environment
• Strong interpersonal skills; professional fluency in English is a must, fluency in German is a strong asset

• Initial exposure to energy markets or the renewable energy sector
