About the role
This is a Senior Manager of Rewards position at N26, serving as a strategic partner to the Director of Rewards & People Analytics. You'll architect and implement rewards frameworks for 1,600+ employees across Europe, managing everything from executive compensation to equity programs while ensuring regulatory compliance and driving business value through strategic compensation design.
What you'll do
- Implement and operationalize N26's new Rewards Philosophy across European operations
- Lead Equity (ESOP) and Cash Bonus programs, ensuring competitive incentive structures
- Own end-to-end Salary Review and Promotion cycles
- Conduct market benchmarking and design salary band structures for fintech talent competition
- Manage governance requirements including internal/external audits and RemCo preparations
- Collaborate with Works Councils and Internal Communications on rewards transparency
- Support Executive Compensation and complex Works Council negotiations
What you'll need
- Minimum 5+ years experience in Rewards with proven track record influencing senior stakeholders
- Strategic mindset with ability to anticipate market shifts and pivot strategies
- Operational excellence with structured, disciplined approach to quality and pace
- Strong emotional intelligence for building trust across all organizational levels
- Experience collaborating with Works Councils and global teams
- Adaptability to thrive in ambiguous environments
- Leadership capability to manage 1-2 direct reports as team scales
