Senior Accountant

About the role

This is a Senior Finance Manager position focused on building scalable accounting processes and managing financial operations for a growing fintech company. You'll lead critical accounting functions including group consolidation, general ledger management, and process optimization while partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.

What you'll do

• Prepare consolidated financial statements and cash flow statements using Lucanet, managing intercompany bookings and cross-charges
• Handle general ledger accounting including journal entries, revenue recognition, provisions, and bank bookings
• Oversee accounts payable processes, reconciliations, and bookings to streamline operations
• Drive process improvements and automation while supporting internal and external audits
• Manage transfer pricing processes including contracts, documentation, and compliance implementation

What you'll need

• Proven expertise in accounting and group consolidation under HGB
• Deep knowledge of HGB accounting standards
• Expert-level proficiency with Datev software
• Fluency in both German and English at C1 level
• Strong ownership mindset with ability to work independently and make decisions
• Analytical thinking with ability to translate complex financial setups into clear processes
