Product Engineer (Full Stack)

About the role

This is a full stack Product Engineer role at Kombo, a Series A infrastructure platform for HR tech integrations. You'll own complete customer problems end-to-end, from customer research through solution design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing support. This role combines engineering with product ownership, requiring direct customer interaction and high autonomy.

What you'll do

• Own entire customer problems from discovery to successful implementation
• Join customer calls and visits to understand their needs and gather requirements
• Design and architect solutions to complex customer problems
• Build features end-to-end using TypeScript across the full stack
• Deploy to production and support features through initial customer adoption
• Write RFCs and technical documentation for proposed solutions
• Gather customer feedback and iterate on features based on real usage
• Collaborate with product managers and senior engineers depending on project scope
• Participate in building new product areas and potentially lead new teams

What you'll need

• Strong full stack engineering experience with TypeScript
• Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and autonomy
• Experience talking directly to customers and translating needs into technical solutions
• Ability to work end-to-end from problem identification through production deployment
• Interest in building infrastructure and API products
• First-principles thinking and willingness to challenge decisions
• Comfort with fast-paced environment and trunk-based development
