About the role
This is a full stack Product Engineer role at Kombo, a Series A infrastructure platform for HR tech integrations. You'll own complete customer problems end-to-end, from customer research through solution design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing support. This role combines engineering with product ownership, requiring direct customer interaction and high autonomy.
What you'll do
- Own entire customer problems from discovery to successful implementation
- Join customer calls and visits to understand their needs and gather requirements
- Design and architect solutions to complex customer problems
- Build features end-to-end using TypeScript across the full stack
- Deploy to production and support features through initial customer adoption
- Write RFCs and technical documentation for proposed solutions
- Gather customer feedback and iterate on features based on real usage
- Collaborate with product managers and senior engineers depending on project scope
- Participate in building new product areas and potentially lead new teams
What you'll need
- Strong full stack engineering experience with TypeScript
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and autonomy
- Experience talking directly to customers and translating needs into technical solutions
- Ability to work end-to-end from problem identification through production deployment
- Interest in building infrastructure and API products
- First-principles thinking and willingness to challenge decisions
