About the role
As a IT Support Engineer at Aleph Alpha, you will be a key player in managing our Apple ecosystem (via Kandji/IRU) and Google Workspace environment. You will ensure that our team of 300+ employees has reliable, secure, and seamless access to the tools they need to build the future of AI.
What you'll do
- Own and manage the Kandji/IRU MDM platform, including device enrollment, app deployment, security policies, and compliance monitoring
- Administer Google Workspace including user lifecycle management, security configurations, and data governance policies
- Provide expert-level support for macOS and iOS devices, resolving complex technical issues
- Design and implement zero-touch deployment workflows for new employee onboarding
- Develop automation scripts to streamline repetitive IT tasks and improve efficiency
- Create and maintain IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and self-service resources
- Collaborate with Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure endpoint compliance and security standards
What you'll need
- Several years of experience in IT support with focus on Apple device management
- Proven hands-on experience with Kandji/IRU or similar MDM solutions (Jamf, Mosyle)
- Expert knowledge of Google Workspace administration and security features
- Deep understanding of macOS and iOS enterprise management
- Experience with ITIL processes and ISMS frameworks
- Experience with SSO/identity management solutions
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or AppleScript) for automation
- Fluent in German and English
