About the role
We're seeking a service-oriented IT Support Specialist to maintain our IT infrastructure across multiple office locations and support colleagues globally. You'll be the primary point of contact for technical issues while driving operational excellence and helping scale our technology operations.
What you'll do
- Maintain IT infrastructure across current and future office locations as a hands-on technical specialist
- Provide primary IT support for colleagues across multiple time zones, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Execute onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring new employees have hardware, accounts, and access ready on Day 1
- Manage physical and digital inventory of IT assets, handling procurement logistics, distribution, and repairs
- Administer user access and identity via SSO and IdP solutions, ensuring adherence to security policies
- Support workplace tools management including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Atlassian products
- Create and update internal knowledge base articles and how-to guides to increase self-service efficiency
- Assess and implement new workplace applications and tools that scale with business growth
What you'll need
- Proven track record in IT Support, Service Desk, or System Administrator role
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills for macOS (primary) and Windows environments
- Experience working in ticket-based support environment with focus on SLA adherence and user satisfaction
- Hands-on experience with MDM solutions like Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune for device deployment
- Competency in administering Google Workspace and supporting startup tools like Slack and Zoom
- Familiarity with basic office network troubleshooting including WiFi, LAN, VPN, and video conferencing hardware
- Strong understanding of security best practices including MFA, password hygiene, and phishing awareness
- Basic ability to develop Bash/PowerShell scripts with willingness to automate processes
- Excellent verbal and written English skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence from agent/admin perspective including managing projects, permissions, and workflows
