About the role
Join us in shaping Germany's €20B real estate market by designing simple, intuitive, and delightful experiences in our flagship consumer platform. As a Senior UX Designer, you'll work at the intersection of design, product, and engineering—helping drive our interconnectivity strategy and setting the bar for design excellence across platforms.
What you'll do
- Redesign high-impact, business-critical workflows using JTBD, heuristic evaluations, architecture maps, and interaction concepts. Turn complexity into clarity and elegance.
- Design for search, listings, transactions, and new verticals across web and mobile. Drive UX excellence, connect your work to business strategy, and elevate design storytelling across teams.
- Influence and evolve our product's design system, COSMA. Champion accessibility, scalability, and stunning visual craft.
- Partner with leadership and C-level stakeholders to shape our platform vision. Present design decisions with confidence, grounded in insights and strategic intent.
What you'll need
- 5–7+ years designing world-class digital products (mobile, tablet, desktop). Bonus for agency or freelance work across multiple clients.
- A portfolio that showcases beautiful visual design, thoughtful interaction, and the ability to turn complexity into simplicity—plus examples of measurable business impact.
- Confident presenting to C-suite. Proven success convincing stakeholders to embrace bold design solutions and architecture changes.
- You lead without authority, thrive in ambiguity, and always find a path forward.
- Deep expertise in discovery practices like Design Sprints, Product Trios, and Working Backwards.
- You're a Figma pro who's passionate about design systems, and eager to evolve ours with the team.
- You're an AI-native UX designer who seamlessly integrates AI tools into your workflow from ideation to prototyping.
Nice to have
- Experience in or interest in real estate and its workflows—you'll design for millions navigating home buying, selling, and renting.
