Head of Compliance & Regulatory

About the role

As Head of Compliance and Regulatory at voize, you'll define and lead the company's compliance and regulatory strategy across Germany, EU, US, and future markets. You'll build scalable governance systems that enable teams to ship products confidently while maintaining audit-readiness as the company expands into new products and geographies.

What you'll do

• Own the regulatory roadmap for current and future markets, translating requirements into clear plans and priorities
• Build and scale a pragmatic compliance program including policies, controls, monitoring, and training across the company
• Lead audits and certifications (ISO 27001, C5) and drive customer compliance reviews and due diligence
• Shape medical device and AI governance including EU MDR, FDA exposure, and EU AI Act alignment
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to embed compliance into day-to-day decision-making

What you'll need

• Strong experience in healthcare compliance and regulatory frameworks across EU and US markets
• Knowledge of GDPR, EU AI Act, ISO 27001, C5, EU MDR (HIPAA/FDA exposure is a plus)
• Proven track record leading audits, certifications, and customer due diligence processes
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical internal controls and product guidance
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive presence with cross-functional influence
• Fluent in German and English
