About the role
You will join our People & Culture team and work closely with your fellow P&C Manager to jointly own the full employee experience for our 130-person team.
What you'll do
- Acting as the primary point of contact for employees and managers across your assigned teams, providing trusted, day-to-day HR support and guidance on all people-related matters.
- Owning and continuously improving core HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, performance cycles, probation reviews, and absence management.
- Building strong relationships with team leads and managers, coaching them on people management best practices and navigating team dynamics.
- Driving our Learning & Development agenda: identifying development needs, curating and coordinating training programmes, and supporting individual growth plans.
- Supporting compensation and benefits processes, including salary review cycles, benchmarking, and ensuring our offering remains competitive as we grow.
- Advising on and handling employee relations matters with sensitivity and professionalism, escalating where appropriate.
- Maintaining accurate people data and HR systems, and producing regular reporting and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborating on cross-functional P&C projects such as culture initiatives, organisational design support, and process automation.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in roles like HR Generalist, HRBP, or People & Culture Manager, ideally within a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment.
- Solid hands-on experience running HR processes end-to-end, from onboarding to performance management.
- A genuine passion for Learning & Development and experience designing or coordinating training programmes that have a real impact.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Data-literate: comfortable working with HR metrics, producing reports, and using data to support your recommendations.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong advantage given our Berlin base and local regulations.
- Familiarity with German labour law or hands-on experience working within a German-based company.
- Experience with HRIS systems is essential, preferably Personio.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with ATS systems (e.g. Ashby, Greenhouse, or similar).
What they offer
- Hybrid working model.
- Office in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg — dog-friendly, with free drinks and snacks.
- Employee discounts on Yepoda products for you, friends, and family.
- Urban Sports membership package.
- Room for professional growth and advancement from day one.
