About the role

You'll be an electrical technician installing and maintaining large-scale renewable energy systems including solar installations, charging stations, and battery storage systems in commercial and semi-public buildings. This role involves hands-on electrical work, system commissioning, and technical troubleshooting as part of building the future energy grid.

What you'll do

• Install, monitor and commission large PV systems, charging stations and battery systems in commercial buildings
• Build distribution panels, measurement systems and electrical infrastructure including cable trays and high-voltage lines
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair existing energy systems in photovoltaic, storage and charging infrastructure
• Perform electrical system testing according to current standards and document measurement results
• Coordinate with technical project management and contribute technical improvement suggestions

What you'll need

• Completed training as electrician, electronics technician for energy and building technology, mechatronics engineer or comparable qualification
• Recognition as electrical specialist according to VDE with solid knowledge of relevant electrical installation standards
• Experience in standards-compliant installation of cable trays and high-voltage lines, and testing electrical systems according to VDE0100
• Experience with inverters, network connection via Ethernet or Modbus, and knowledge of PV systems, battery storage or charging infrastructure
• Class B driving license, willingness for regional installation assignments within 300km radius, and excellent German language skills
