About the role
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Procurement Team Lead. This role is vital in managing the procurement processes and ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services that support our business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of supply chain management, and the ability to lead a team towards achieving procurement excellence.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage the Procurement team, ensuring efficient order management and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Manage the complete order lifecycle—from requisition and contract to purchase order and invoice payment—ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
- Work closely with our Finance IT Department to enhance our Procurement tool for final Business Users.
- Design and implement an effective vendor onboarding process to ensure seamless integration and alignment with company requirements.
- Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with our Accounts Payable team to ensure a smooth invoice registration process.
- Work with our General Ledger team to support open purchase order accruals during month-end close.
- Analyze order management data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or a similar role.
- Proven leadership experience with excellent team management skills.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software (e.g. Coupa, SAP Ariba) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
