Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Join Buena's core engineering team to rebuild Germany's property management industry by developing modern software solutions. You'll work directly with founders in Berlin to replace outdated desktop software with automated, user-friendly web applications that transform how property managers operate across Germany.

What you'll do

• Build and ship features end-to-end from concept to production
• Own parts of the product and drive architectural decisions
• Improve performance and reliability across core systems
• Work closely with product and design to turn real workflows into simple software
• Shape engineering culture as the team grows

What you'll need

• Founder-type mentality with intensity and focus on outcomes
• Proven experience building and shipping production-ready web applications
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js or comparable modern stacks
• Ability to take features from concept to production independently
• Solid understanding of modern web architecture including APIs, state management, and data flows
