About the role
You'll be joining a new cross-functional engineering team focused on internationalizing Raisin's investment products. This role involves building customer-facing platforms and internal tools while owning the full development lifecycle from design to deployment.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain high-quality customer-facing platforms and internal tools
- Own the design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing refinement of applications and services
- Guide features through the full lifecycle from discovery to launch
- Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-tested code with comprehensive testing
- Collaborate with Product, UX, Risk, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical standards and best practices
- Improve engineering processes, CI/CD pipelines, and automation to enhance productivity
- Use AI tools responsibly to accelerate delivery and improve quality
- Foster inclusive team culture through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and collaboration
What you'll need
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- Professional experience as a Software Engineer
- Strong understanding of business requirements and translating them to technical solutions
- Experience working in agile environments with CI/CD practices
- Strong English communication skills
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Strong experience with React or similar modern frameworks
- Familiarity with component libraries like Material-UI
- Focus on building performant, accessible, and user-centric web applications
Nice to have
- German language skills
- Experience with Next.js, Static Site Generators, JAMstack architectures, and headless CMS solutions
